MAIN BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT. Panels #1

I made the rear cabin covers out of pressed board for weight and strength. I made a face on the bottom to go in front of the whale tail on the aft end of the keel. I opened a whole to clear the aileron trim servo. I attached aluminum angle stock to the top and attaclhed the whole panel to nutplates located on five separate aluminum flanges bonded to the fuselage. I made a shelf for the luggage supported by the face described and another length of aluminum stock supported by flanges and a small block of wood bonded to the top of the sump tank. I then finished two panels to cover the firewall between which the seat belts slide to enter the cabin. The bottom panel is vertical and the top is slanted aft.
